Digital Radiography

Radiography, also known as Xrays, enable us to ‘look inside’ animals and have a multitude of uses, including assessment of bone disease, trauma, chest problems and much, much more.

Available at all three branches.

Ultrasound Scanning

Our ultrasound scanner also enables us to look inside the body without invasive surgery.

Scanning ‘sees’ the body in a different way to radiography, and is especially useful for looking at soft tissues. It is used for assessing internal organs such as kidney and liver, diagnosing pregnancy, checking how the heart is functioning and evaluating cancers and other serious disorders.

Read more about Ultrasound.

Available at all three branches.

Endoscopy

We have a range of endoscopes for more in depth assessment of various medical issues from stomach ulcers to pneumonia.

Endoscopes are cameras on a fibre-optic lead, which can be fed down into the stomach, lungs or lower bowel allowing us to see any disease processes there, and to collect samples from these areas.

Available at all three branches.

Dental Radiography

Dental digital radiography allows an extremely detailed x-ray view of each tooth in the mouth. We can “visualise” the teeth, their roots, the tooth sockets and jawbone, allowing very specific accurate assessments of dental work that may be required.

Available at Portishead and Nailsea.

Don’t forget that we offer free telephone advice to our clients.
