OPENING HOURS
Please telephone or visit the surgery to make an appointment. We are open between 8.30am and 7.00 pm weekdays, with surgeries running from 9am to midday, and 4pm to 7pm. 

LOCATION & MAP
Free on street parking is available behind the practice, but we would encourage clients to park in the free Roath Road Car Park on the opposite side of the road, and use the short path which emerges opposite the practice, with the pedestrian crossing taking you right to the front door.

PARKING DIRECTIONS
If driving along Portishead High street, in the direction towards Clevedon, we are on the left hand side just before the pedestrian crossing.

To park in the Roath Road free Car Park, turn right up Roath Road and the car park is on your right. In the far left corner there is a path which leads straight to the High Street, emerging immediately opposite the practice. Alternatively from the High Street, turn left at the mini-roundabout into Brampton Way where there is plentiful free on-street parking in Brampton Way, Albert road, or Victoria Square. The practice is a short walk along Victoria Square past the Phoenix bar, to the High Street where you will find our main entrance on the right side.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The vet surgery is situated very close to the following bus routes: 660, 695, and 692. We have forged very good links with the main local taxi company Carbrite Taxis, who will be willing to take pets in the majority of their vehicles. Please contact us and we can arrange your transport if required.

SERVICES & FACILITIES
Watkins and Tasker Vets - Portishead is a brand new fully equipped small animal veterinary surgery. We are equipped not only for routine consultations but also for anaesthetics, surgery and radiography.

The surgery is purpose-designed and built, allowing full veterinary care for your pets. We have an excellent laboratory area where we can perform in house analysis on blood samples, and any other laboratory investigations required, such as urinary analysis or blood pressure measurement. These tests allow us to accuratley investigate and diagnose your pet’s problem, enabling us to start rapid treatment.

The facilities at Portishead allow excellent post operative care and kennelling to ensure a smooth and safe recovery back to health.

Watkins and Tasker Vets - Portishead provides 24/7 cover for your pet. We are part of the North Somerset Emergency Service providing out of hours treatment in case of emergency. Please phone 01275 397449 and you will speak directly to the nurse on duty. When appropriate, the duty vet will return your call promptly.

A variety of pet food and merchandise is available to purchase in reception.
