Veterinary Surgeon
You will be a full time replacement for our current part time companion animal Veterinary Surgeon, and will be working mainly across 2 of our 3 branches. Our practice is well equipped, with two CR units for radiography, ultrasound, electrocautery, pulse oximetry, laboratory, etc. We have a dedicated and much appreciated team of nurses who constantly drive care standards upwards.
You will have the satisfaction of knowing you are providing a superior level of care for our patients medical and non-medical care, with attention paid to making animal’s time spent with us as stress free as possible.
We are unique in the area in offering routine Sunday surgeries, which markedly reduces the weekend out-of-hours work. We do our own, fairly shared, out of hours rota. There is no phone duty, and the nurses also have an on-call rota to support the vet and care for inpatients.
There are regular meetings to share ideas and listen to suggestions so that everyone has a say in how the practice progresses.
